Homemade Pancake Recipe
Ingredients:
1 Cup flour - whole wheat or white
1 Tablespoon - baking soda
1 Tablespoon - sugar
1/4 Teaspoon - Salt - I use sea salt
1 Egg
2 Tablespoons - Olive / vegetable oil or butter
1 1/2 Cups of milk
1/4 Teaspoon of Vanilla
Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix the liquid ingredients
in another bowl. Pour the dry into the liquid a mix by hand
or with a fork. Only mix long enough so that there are no
large lumps small ones are OK. Usually 20-30 seconds
Pour the mix onto a preheated lightly oiled frying pan (pre
heated on medium to medium high) Only pour as much as needed
to make 1 pancake at a time. Adjusting the amount you pour
will control how thick they will be. Add more milk if you
want them thinner.
Note: You can always add chunks of apple, banana, strawberry,
blue berry, chocolate chip and you can sprinkle cinnamon on
them as well.
